In keeping with our vision of Family Connections are always preserved and strengthened, Eau Claire County Department of Human Services provides support to children, youth, and families through a wide array of programming. Goals of programming are intended to protect children from abuse and neglect, address treatment needs and maintain youth in the community, and provide child-centered, family-focused supports to promote the health and well-being of children and families in the community.
Reporting Child Abuse or Neglect
Weekday Reporting
To report child abuse or neglect, please contact the Department of Human Services Centralized Access at (715) 839-7118 Monday through Friday between 8am - 4:30pm.
Evening/Weekend/Holiday Reporting
Evenings after 4:30pm, weekends, and holidays please contact the Police Department at (715) 839-4972. For emergency situations dial 911.

For more information about the Comprehensive Community Services Program (CCS), Coordinated Services Team (CST), or the Children's Long Term Support Program (CLTS), please see our program descriptions or contact the Department of Human Services Centralized Access at (715) 839-7118.
Program Referrals
If you would like to make a referral to the CCS, CST, or CLTS programs you can complete the Children's Integrated Referral Form and submit the referral to Centralized Access.
